I’m glad you asked:

  1. First browse through this entire site.  It will answer pretty much all your questions.  If you have any questions that aren’t answered on the page, feel free to call 321.948.4300 or email me.
  1. If you’re happy with the place thus far, let me know your preferred lease time frame (ex. August 1, 2011-July 31, 2012) by emailing me and if there are multiple rooms available for that time frame – please specify which room (by letter) you are requesting (leases under 5 months are not prorated).
  2. You should then view the condo either online or schedule a viewing by emailing me.
  3. Next, submit a copy of your credit report (either using thefree option or by another means) to me.  If you are a student/professional coming from abroad, I will also need you to include in your email a copy of your visa allowing you to work/study here as well as copies of documentation from your employer/school stating that a position has been secured for you.
  4. You should then copy, paste, & provide responses to the following questions to help us get to know you better.  And send those responses to me.
    1. age?
    2. occupation? (major?/job title?/industry?)
    3. hobbies?
    4. house guest preferences? (how often, how long, how many?)
    5. pet peeves?
    6. where you’re from?
    7. what are your living habits like? (loud, quiet?)
    8. what are your social habits like? (sociable? party-goer? reserved?)
    9. any other habits you might like to mention?
    10. & any concerns you might like to voice?
  5. After your approval of the place, and our perusal of your credit report, you will be required to submit your security deposit of $400 as detailed, if you would like the room to be reserved for you to begin on the lease period you’ve requested.
  6. You will then read through your rental agreement and sign/initial as required of you.
  7. We’ll do a walk through of the apartment together before you move in, you’ll fill out the assessment and I’ll hand you a set of keys.
  8. If the rooms aren’t yet taken, you will be given an opportunity to voice your preferences into the roommate final selection.  It’s important to me that the environment is a safe, amiable, and comfortable place to come home to for you. And in that regard, I do my best to start it off that way- it is of course up to you and your fellow flat-mates to continue the feeling.
  9. You will now be able to enjoy your new place at UTG. :) Welcome to our humble abode!

Now that you know how the process goes – feel free to peruse through the rest of this page.  And if you have any further queries, feel free to call 321.948.4300

.

All the best,

lst
